In the summer, the Hrabovská Valley attracts visitors with its reservoir, cable car, bike park, nature trails, and attractions for children. In winter, Malinô Brdo transforms into a popular ski resort with a family-friendly atmosphere. In the surrounding area, you’ll also find exceptional sites such as the UNESCO-listed village of Vlkolínec, the Čutkovská Valley, Likavský Castle, and hiking trails offering beautiful views of the Liptov region.

Bear Trail

The nature trail begins at the Hrabovská Dam and ends below Sidorovo, near the Mini Farm.

Vlkolínec

Vlkolínec is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An easy walk featuring an exhibition and an educational program for children.

The Giant's Path

Obrovo is a children's play area with trampolines, rope obstacle courses, swings, slides, and themed games centered around the giant Čutko.

Tarzania Hrabovo

A rope park at the lower station of the Malinô Brdo cable car. The courses are categorized by difficulty, including a children’s course; the park features blue, red, and black courses, as well as a 160-meter-long children’s course.

Hrabovo Zipline

An adrenaline-pumping zip line over the Hrabovská Dam. It is approximately 300 meters long and reaches speeds of around 40–60 km/h.

Perfect for those who don't want to head straight to the bike park but are looking for a more active downhill experience.

Malinô Brdo Bike Park

One of the main summer attractions. In the summer, the resort transforms into a bike park with downhill trails.

Sidorovo / Viewpoints above Vlkolínec

This is a good way to extend a trip from Medvedia cesta or Vlkolínec. Visit Liptov notes that from the end of Medvedia cesta, you can continue, for example, to Vlkolínec, the Sidorovo lookout point, or Malinô Brdo.

A good choice if you want beautiful views without a long climb. The official website recommends taking the cable car up to Malinô Brdo and choosing from several walks and hiking trails of varying difficulty.

Ruins near the village of Likavka, close to Ružomberok. The Liptov Museum states that Likava Castle is one of the three castles in the Liptov region and is one of its exhibition sites. It makes for a nice, short historical stop on a day trip outside of Hrabovo itself.

Ľudovít Fulla Gallery

The Ľudovít Fulla Gallery in Ružomberok is a modern art gallery and part of the Slovak National Gallery. It primarily exhibits works of art donated to the Slovak National Gallery by Ľudovít Fulla.

Lyžovanie Malinô Brdo

Stredisko je rodinného typu, s dlhými a širokými zjazdovkami. Skipark má bezpečnú 3,9 km dlhú zjazdovku. V zime je vhodná pre rodinné lyžovanie, so ski školou a požičovňou pri údolnej stanici lanovky.
